Biscotti's Story
FINAL UPDATE: Scotti was adopted on February 13th, 2010, and is now living with his new family in Minnesota.
UPDATE: Five weeks into his recovery, the plate in Scotti's leg broke. On November 16th, he again had surgery. The old plate was removed and a new plate was attached. Back to square one on healing the fracture. We weren't charged another surgical fee, but X-rays and follow up vet visits have pushed up Biscotti's vet bills to nearly $2,300.
Scotti's final X-rays were January 4, 2010, and show his leg to be healed. He's ready to find a loving home of his own!
Biscotti is a 4 year old Italian Greyhound who was adopted from Lifeline in 2008. He recently broke his leg, which was surgically plated. Biscotti's owner did not return to the pet hospital for him and did not pay the surgical/hospital bill.
Lifeline was contacted, and we agreed to take Biscotti back and to pay for his surgical and hospital costs, which total $1832.00. While Scotti is in foster care and mending nicely, Lifeline is scrambling to raise funds to cover his bills.
Thank you for your continued support!
